Job Description
**Sales Director, Women’s Footwear \& Handbags**
**Overview:**
The Sales Director, Women’s Footwear \& Handbags is responsible for the management of the commercial relationship with key US Wholesale clients, developing and implementing plans and strategies to drive qualitative and quantitative results for the brand.
**Responsibilities:**
* Present sales campaign in New York four times a year.
* Collaborate with wholesale planner to build seasonal budget and track monthly invoicing. Work closely with logistics team in US and Swiss.
* Partner with Business Division team in Paris.
* Forge strong rapport with department stores teams.
* Analyze weekly/monthly/seasonal sales report, market trends, shipping, etc.
* Conduct market visits and in\-store trainings. Advocate for strong placement on the floor and advise on VM guidelines.
* Liaise with internal and external event teams to organize various in\-store events/pop\-up/personal appearances.
* Oversee wholesale advertising programs while working with communications teams to select campaigns vehicles, strategizing on style selection to align with global message and provide final approval on assets.
* Coordinate between internal and external partners for CAPEX projects. Work closely with EVP to identify future business opportunities.
* Manage DSA program.
**Skills and Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Business or related field required
* 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Sales or similar in luxury/fashion environment
* Has managed employee(s) in the past, enjoys coaching and developing his/her team. Demonstrates patience, understanding and leads by example
* Proficient in all of Microsoft Office/Suite
* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, averaging approximately 30%
* Passion for Christian Louboutin and a true ambassador for the brand with strong sense of responsibility
* Ideal candidate has work experience in medium sized multinational company or luxury business.
* Additional language fluency is a plus
* Adheres to company policy and confidentiality
* Proactively contributes to creating a team atmosphere that is professional, flexible and enjoyable
* Exudes a “no task is too big or too small” attitude, with initiative, commitment, reliability, and positivity. Does not accept mediocrity
