A well\-established engineering business with a strong reputation for technical excellence is seeking an experienced
**Sales Director**
to lead its commercial function during a key growth phase.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will take full responsibility for sales strategy, revenue performance, and team leadership. You will drive sustainable growth, strengthen key client relationships, and build the structure and discipline required to scale effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and deliver the company’s sales and growth strategy
* Lead, develop and mentor the sales team
* Oversee forecasting, pipeline management and performance reporting
* Drive new business whilst expanding existing key accounts
* Identify new markets and commercial opportunities
* Implement robust sales processes, KPIs and governance
Requirements
* Senior sales leadership experience within engineering, manufacturing or industrial sectors
* Proven track record of revenue growth and team development
* Experience managing complex, solutions\-based sales cycles
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence at board level
