About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished and commercially driven

Luxury Sales Director

to lead business growth, brand development, and retail excellence across the UAE and GCC markets. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in luxury retail, distribution management, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management, coupled with a proven ability to scale premium brands and deliver sustainable profitability.

This role requires a visionary leader with deep connections within the HNI (High-Net-Worth Individual) and UHNI (Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individual) community, exceptional storytelling capabilities, and a strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth \& Market Expansion

  • Drive strategic business expansion across the UAE and GCC region, identifying new market opportunities and revenue streams.
  • Lead retail and distribution operations across multiple luxury categories including watches, jewellery, fashion, accessories, fragrance, beauty, and travel goods.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales, marketing, and commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify innovative growth opportunities through market intelligence, consumer insights, and competitive analysis.

Luxury Brand Management

  • Serve as the custodian of luxury brand positioning, ensuring consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Enhance brand equity and customer engagement through strategic initiatives and premium client experiences.
  • Collaborate with global brand principals and stakeholders to achieve long-term business objectives.
  • Drive loyalty programs and clienteling initiatives to strengthen customer retention and lifetime value.

Sales Leadership \& Client Development

  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, luxury consumers, VIP customers, and influential stakeholders.
  • Leverage strong networking capabilities within HNI and UHNI circles to expand the customer portfolio.
  • Lead high-performance sales teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve and exceed targets.

Financial \& Commercial Management

  • Own and drive P\&L performance, ensuring strong revenue growth and healthy profit margins.
  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans while ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Analyze operating and financial statements to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvements.
  • Ensure sustainable profitability through effective commercial decision-making and cost optimization initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Enhance operational efficiency across retail and distribution functions.
  • Implement best-in-class processes, reporting frameworks, and performance management systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize customer experience and business performance.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and retail teams.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including brand principals, distributors, landlords, and strategic partners.
  • Maintain transparent communication and structured reporting with senior leadership.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, luxury forums, networking functions, and key business engagements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience within the luxury retail industry.
  • Proven success in managing and scaling luxury retail and distribution businesses.
  • Strong exposure to watches, jewellery, fashion, beauty, fragrance, accessories, or lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated track record of business expansion across the UAE and GCC markets.
  • Experience managing multi-brand and multi-channel luxury environments.
