With a strong market reputation and rapid growth trajectory, the business is playing a key role in decarbonising the UK commercial sector. **The Role** This is a senior, high\-impact Sales Director role created to elevate and accelerate an established and capable sales function. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Sales Director will act as a strategic commercial partner, bringing pace, energy and strong leadership to drive growth in a competitive and evolving market. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and drive the company’s business sales function, setting clear direction and priorities * Inject pace, energy and commercial momentum into an existing, high\-performing team * Operate as a senior commercial partner to the CEO, contributing to wider business strategy * Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned to rapid market change and growth objectives * Identify, develop and convert new commercial opportunities within the energy / renewables sector * Act as a visible, hands\-on leader, setting standards and holding teams accountable for performance * Provide structure, focus and clarity while empowering strong managers already in place **Team \& Reporting Structure** * Inherit an established sales team with experienced managers already embedded * Role is designed to elevate performance rather than rebuild the function * Reports directly to the CEO **Essential Skills \& Experience** * Proven experience operating at Sales Director or senior sales leadership level * Strong, demonstrable background in the energy and/or renewables sector * Track record of driving growth in competitive, saturated markets * Ability to operate credibly at board and CEO level * Highly driven, proactive and commercially focused leadership style **Desirable Skills \& Experience** * Experience scaling sales functions in high\-growth environments * Strong personal sales background alongside leadership capability * Exposure to fast\-moving, changing or volatile sectors **Salary \& Package** * £100,000 base salary \+ OTE **Why Join?** * Rare opportunity to step into a high\-visibility Sales Director role with real impact * Direct access to, and influence with, a high\-profile CEO * Strong brand and reputation that attracts clients and talent * High degree of autonomy to shape and drive the sales function * Operating in a sector with significant long\-term growth potential
