Role Description The Sales Director is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This position is responsible for leading and executing the overall sales strategy, including setting targets, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities for growth in key markets. The Sales Director will manage and coach the sales team, oversee sales operations and pipelines, and ensure consistent, high-quality customer service across all accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with dealers, distributors, and industry partners; engaging with architects, designers, and construction professionals; and collaborating with internal teams on pricing, product positioning, and competitive analysis. The role also involves forecasting revenue, preparing sales reports for leadership, and contributing to strategic business development initiatives to expand Sun Glow’s market presence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales and Business Development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a B2B or manufacturing environment.
- Strong Sales Operations skills, including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM utilization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability in Customer Service, with a focus on long-term client relationships, solution-oriented communication, and responsiveness.
- Team Management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and fostering an inclusive, high-performing sales culture.
- Solid understanding of window coverings, building materials, or a related design/construction sector is an asset.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Comfort working on-site in the Greater Toronto Area and traveling within assigned territories as needed.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
