**Job Summary**
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and staff performance. This role involves managing staff, controlling costs, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and driving profitability while delivering an excellent dining experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Operations Management**
* Oversee day\-to\-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
* Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front\-of\-house teams
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
**Staff Management**
* Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff
* Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching
* Foster a positive and productive work environment
**Customer Service**
* Ensure exceptional customer service at all times
* Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
* Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements
**Financial Management**
* Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability
* Monitor sales, expenses, and inventory levels
* Prepare financial reports and forecasts
* Implement strategies to increase revenue
**Compliance \& Safety**
* Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and hygiene regulations
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
* Ensure proper food handling and storage practices
**Inventory \& Supply Chain**
* Manage inventory levels and order supplies
* Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency
* Minimize waste and control stock losses
**Marketing \& Growth**
* Support marketing and promotional activities
* Develop strategies to attract and retain customers
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities
**Qualifications \& Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
* Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Financial acumen and experience with budgeting
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
* Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment
