Our team is passionate about hospitality, teamwork, and creating memorable moments for every guest. ⸻ Role Description We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Part\-Time Floor Manager to join our team on\-site in Ottawa, ON. The Floor Manager will oversee front\-of\-house operations during events and service periods, ensuring seamless execution and an exceptional guest experience. This role is hands\-on and requires strong leadership on the floor, the ability to think quickly, and a commitment to maintaining Aquatopia’s high service standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating service flow, supporting food and beverage operations, and resolving guest concerns in a professional and timely manner. ⸻ Key Responsibilities \* Lead and supervise front\-of\-house team during events and service \* Ensure exceptional guest service and overall satisfaction \* Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow \* Manage staffing levels and support team performance on shift \* Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally \* Assist with inventory oversight and event setup/teardown as needed \* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company standards ⸻ Qualifications \* Strong customer service and guest relations skills \* Excellent communication and leadership abilities \* Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or events \* Solid understanding of food and beverage service standards \* Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, event\-driven environment \* Strong problem\-solving and organizational skills \* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and late\-night events \* Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset \* Post\-secondary education in hospitality or related field is an asset**
