ResortPass | Senior Software Engineer, Frontend | New York, NY | Full-time, In-Office | $160K-$180K + equity | resortpass.com We're rewriting resortpass.com — starting with our highest-traffic surfaces (SRP/DLP) — and need a Senior Frontend Engineer to be the technical anchor. ~75% of pages get touched this year: international expansion (Mexico & Caribbean now, Europe next), in-housing search from Algolia, a new Hotel SaaS tool, and Spa as a major new vertical. Senior role, Staff-leaning scope, clear path to Tech Lead. 2/3 of traffic is web, so performance is business-critical (Core Web Vitals, SEO, caching), and this codebase is also our launchpad for AI features (concierge chatbot, AI spa booker). Stack: Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui. Backend: Rails, Node/AWS, Postgres, MongoDB. Playwright + Datadog. You'll own: technical design (RFCs) for major rewrites, reusable App Router patterns, code quality/mentorship for a junior-leaning team, and API contracts with backend. Need: 6+ yrs production web apps, deep React/Next.js expertise, proven track record leading high-traffic rewrites with measurable results.
