Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Supervision Consultant’s site representative for day-to-day supervision, coordination, inspections, and contract administration of the Works.
- Lead the supervision team and allocate reviews, inspections, and follow-up actions to the relevant discipline resources.
- Review Contractor submissions, WIRs, MIRs, method statements, RFIs, shop drawings, and correspondence, and issue or coordinate the Supervision Consultant’s comments, recommendations, or responses, as applicable.
- Monitor Contractor progress against the accepted programme and report delays, risks, constraints, and required recovery actions to the Client and Design D management.
- Administer site instructions, non-conformance follow-up, quality observations, and contractual communications in accordance with the Contract and the delegated authority of the Supervision Consultant.
- Attend and chair coordination, progress, technical, and site meetings as required, and ensure proper recording and close-out of actions.
- Coordinate with the Client, Contractor, AOR, authorities, and third parties to support timely resolution of technical, quality, safety, and interface matters.
- Review payment assessments, progress records, and QS recommendations before onward submission to the Client or certification process, as applicable.
- Ensure that supervision records, inspection logs, daily reports, and correspondence are properly maintained by the supervision team.
