Join us as the Residence Director at the prestigious 1 Mayfair Residences by The Dorchester Collection. Consisting of 29 private luxury residences, the 1 Mayfair development will have a transformational effect on the Mayfair landscape, introducing a beautifully designed building with contextual architectural references throughout, and setting unseen benchmarks for new codes of luxury. ***What you'll do***
A day in the life of the Director of 1 Mayfair Residences demands a high level of energy. The individual needs to act in a consistent and thorough manner and demonstrate creativity and innovation to tackle daily adventures in a residence’s environment.
The list below details the key responsibilities for the role:
* Contributing to the processes and activities that create and promote the Dorchester Collection culture, values and bring the “We Care” Company Philosophy to life, ensuring our employees and residents receive nothing but the best experience.
* Developing and nourishing Residents’ relations from property handover, moving in, day to day living and the management of all core services covered in the Residential Management Agreement with Dorchester Collection and the Owners Association Management Company.
* Preparation and management of 1 Mayfair Residences Annual Budgets, all associated works for 1 Mayfair Residences Service Charge Budgets and associated tender contracts resourced as part of the budget.
* Managing the team employed directly to run 1 Mayfair Residences, as well as the outsourced service providers employed to maintain the common areas and all services that fall within the scope of services.
* Working in close synchronisation with The Dorchester Hotel management; General Manager, Director of People and Culture, Director of Front of House, Director of Security, Director of Engineering and Director of Finance
* Driving continuous improvement of our residents’ experience, enhancing the service proposition and efficiency of processes as well as driving key residence projects in support of our strategic priorities and business goals.
* Responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training and retention of talent; leading and motivating the team towards an enhanced performance and achieving residents’ satisfaction and service.
* Oversight and responsibility of emergency procedure (i.e. in case of fire) as defined in the Emergency Evacuation Operations Plan
* Developing and maintaining positive and productive service focused working relationships with residents and their guests as well as external potential perspective owners. Representing Dorchester Collection and become a point of contact within the residences
* Overseeing the regular physical assessment of the common areas of residences to raise and report any issue or defects to the development company, Caudwell, as per contract
* Ensuring an open communication between the development company, Caudwell, and the residents for any defects of the property as per contract.
* Set up and demonstrate a complete understanding and residence’s policies and procedures and service standards.
* Planning daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly assignments and projects for all full\-time employees.
* Implementing control over department labour costs and control costs while ensuring that adequate staffing is available to provide five\-star services.
* Meeting with the Owners Association Management Company to follow up on direct and indirect owners’ requirements to ensure that the buildings are managed at the same level as at Dorchester Collection Hotel.
* Comply with all statutory and company health \& safety and security regulations.
* Understand the Legal implications of a residential contract, including understanding property ownership, leasehold agreements, and the legal framework governing residential properties.

***What you'll bring***
*Essential skills and experience*
* Previous experience as a Residence Director, with at least 2\-3 years in a similar role overseeing luxury properties or equivalent experience in five star luxury hotels, UHNW private household setting
* Exceptional leadership skills and a customer\-centric approach.
* Proven experience managing luxury residential estates or high\-end hospitality environments.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational and analytical skills.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to lead and motivate high performing team.
* Collaborative approach to teamwork, flexible working style and positive approach to change.
* Excellent organisational, time management and decision\-making skills.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism and creativity
* Ability to work independently to manage several projects simultaneously.
* Experience in pre\-opening process of similar luxury property is preferred
* Complex project management skills desirable
