Job Description
**About The Role**
Support a remote workforce across Canada by delivering consistent HR operations, employee support, and compliance\-ready documentation. You will partner with managers and cross\-functional teams to execute lifecycle processes, maintain HRIS data integrity, coordinate benefits and payroll inputs, and support employee relations in a distributed environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle documentation across provinces
* Maintain HRIS records, reporting, and data quality (audits, changes, access controls)
* Support benefits administration, leave management, and enrollment changes
* Coordinate payroll inputs and resolve employee pay/benefits inquiries with vendors
* Handle employee relations intake, investigations support, and issue documentation
* Support performance management cycles, calibration logistics, and manager enablement
* Draft, update, and socialize HR policies (remote work, conduct, time off, compliance)
* Ensure compliance with Canadian employment standards and privacy expectations
* Partner with Talent Acquisition on requisition intake, screening coordination, and hiring workflows
* Track HR metrics (turnover, time\-to\-fill, onboarding completion, case volumes) and recommend improvements
**Qualifications**
* 3\+ years of HR Generalist experience supporting remote or multi\-site teams
* Working knowledge of Canadian employment standards and common provincial variations
* Experience using HRIS tools (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP, Rippling) with high data accuracy
* Strong documentation skills for policies, SOPs, and employee relations case notes
* Comfort coordinating across time zones and managing confidential information
**Nice to have**
* CHRP/CHRL (or in progress)
* Experience supporting cross\-border teams (Canada/US) and vendor coordination
* Exposure to compensation benchmarking and job leveling support
