**What We Need**
The Clozapine Depot and wellness clinic is located in the outpatient department. The clinic provides ongoing monitoring and support for patients with pharmacotherapy including Clozapine and depot injections. As a clinic nurse, you will utilize your clinical assessment and supportive counseling skills in a progressive inter\-professional environment. You are participating in various initiatives to continually improve quality of patient care to make the best experience for the patient, as well as make it a great place to work.
**What You Bring To The Role**
* Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses
* Current BCLS certification
* RN designation required
* Minimum five year nursing experience in psychiatry, with experience in a Clozapine Depot clinic preferred.
* Post graduate certificate in psychiatric nursing and /or completion of relevant courses related to this position as required.
* Demonstrated strong leadership skills are mandatory
* A visionary leader for program development and evaluation
* Phlebotomy Skills or willingness to acquire.
* RNAO membership is preferred
* Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act of Ontario
* Excellent physical assessment skills
* Proficient computer skills
* Demonstrated commitment to a patient/family centred care environment
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team as well as independently
* Well developed organization, communication, interpersonal and teaching skills
* Physical assessment skills and problem solving/critical thinking skills
* Willingness to complete rTMS certification training and support the OPMH rTMS clinic as needed
* Demonstrated good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
* Demonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
**Work Schedule**
Monday to Friday 8 hour day shifts. Flexibility required to support coverage needs within OPMH Deport and Wellness clinic

$41\.18 \- $59\.03
