Job Description

Your Opportunity:

The Maternal Fetal Assessment Clinic (MFAC) provides specialized antenatal assessment, monitoring, and education to pregnant patients identified as being at elevated risk of complications during pregnancy or delivery. Referrals are triaged by an Obstetrician and include maternal medical complications (hypertensive disorders, pre-gestational diabetes, cardiac and renal disease, alloimmunization), obstetrical complications in a prior pregnancy, and complications arising in the current pregnancy. The Colposcopy Clinic provides diagnostic assessment and surveillance for patients with abnormal cervical cancer screening results. The role requires a nurse who is confident practicing with a high degree of autonomy within their scope. The RN works in direct partnership with Obstetrician/Gynecologists and the broader Women's Health team, and holds day-to-day responsibility for clinical coordination of both services: patient assessment, fetal health surveillance, procedural support, patient education, results tracking, and follow-up. This is a temporary position with an expected term of September 14, 2026 to March 15, 2027. The term may end earlier than the date stated, or may be extended, in accordance with the UNA Provincial Collective Agreement.
