Regional Sales Manager – Northeast U.S.
Location: Remote – Northeast U.S.
*(Preferred location: Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, DC, New Jersey, or surrounding Northeast region)*
We are partnering with a well-established North American manufacturer within the commercial building products / mechanical HVAC solutions industry that is looking to add a high-impact Regional Sales Manager to support continued growth across the Northeast U.S. territory.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in channel sales, manufacturer representative management, wholesale distribution, and strategic account development within technical or specification-driven industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established Northeast U.S. territory through a channel-driven sales strategy
- Develop and strengthen relationships with manufacturer rep agencies, distributors, wholesalers, and strategic partners
- Drive new business development while expanding existing accounts
- Work closely with independent sales representatives to improve market penetration and territory performance
- Support specification and project-based sales efforts within commercial and industrial markets
- Lead territory planning, forecasting, and strategic growth initiatives
- Conduct product presentations, customer meetings, training sessions, and field support activities
- Represent the organization at industry events, association meetings, and trade shows
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in channel sales, manufacturer sales within a technical product environment
- Strong experience managing independent manufacturer representative networks
- Background working with wholesale distribution channels and enterprise-level accounts
- Proven success driving growth across multi-state territories
- Experience within commercial building products, mechanical systems, industrial products, plumbing, HVAC, hydronics, flow control, or related industries is highly preferred
- Comfortable operating in a highly autonomous, field-based role
- Ability to travel throughout the Northeast U.S. region
Compensation
- Competitive Base Salary USD 140,000 to 150,000
- Performance Bonus / Incentive Structure - Approx USD 50,000
