Job Description
Sales Manager — Ontario (HVAC)
**Kepler Canada \| Ontario**
We’re hiring a
**Sales Manager to own Ontario**
.
This is a
**player\-coach role**
. You’ll lead a
**3–5 person sales team**
(BD, territory sales, account management, technical support)
**and**
personally manage key dealer relationships and the most important deals.
You’ll report directly to the
**General Manager**
and work closely with
**ownership**
on go\-to\-market strategy, dealer programs, pricing structure, and territory expansion. You’ll inherit an existing team, proven products, and an active dealer base that now needs structure to scale.
What You’ll Do
* Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of 3–5
* Own Ontario revenue and forecasting (≥85% accuracy)
* Personally manage strategic dealer accounts and major negotiations
* Build and enforce a fair, disciplined dealer program (no side deals, no favoritism)
* Expand dealer coverage across
**Northern, Northwestern, and Eastern Ontario**
* Protect pricing discipline and resolve channel conflicts
* Build sales SOPs: onboarding, quoting, forecasting, handoffs
* Represent Kepler at
**HRAI, CMPX, and dealer events**
What We’re Looking For
* 8–12 years in HVAC sales (distribution, manufacturing, or wholesale)
* 3\+ years leading a small sales team
* Deep knowledge of the
**Ontario HVAC dealer/contractor channel**
* Strong technical literacy (heat pumps, furnaces, ductless, SEER2/HSPF2/AFUE)
* A personal history of
**hitting quota**
, not just managing others
* CRM discipline and clean pipeline management
* Valid Ontario driver’s license; 30–50% travel in season
**Nice to have:**
HRAI certifications, experience at a growth\-stage distributor, familiarity with Ontario rebate programs, or experience building dealer programs or pricing tiers.
