Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a highly skilled and qualified Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator to join our growing team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate brings proven experience from UAE or Middle East construction markets, a strong command of industry-standard software, and the ability to manage cost planning and estimation across complex projects from inception through to final account.

Key responsibilities

• Strong proficiency in cost planning and cost management, including budgeting and forecasting for construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, measurement, and verification based on drawings, models, and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability in cost control and cost reporting, including monitoring expenditures, tracking variations, and preparing periodic financial summaries and accounts.
• Manage procurement processes, evaluate subcontractor bids, and provide cost advice to project teams.
• Prepare and submit progress payment applications and interim valuations.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients on cost control and value engineering.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with related softwares like Primavera P6, MS Excel, MS Projects, AutoCAD/Revit, CostX Etc.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in construction QS / estimating, with significant exposure to UAE or broader Middle East projects.
• Experience across one or more sectors: high-rise residential, commercial, infrastructure, or industrial.
• Strong understanding of local and international market rates, procurement practices, and contract administration.
• Professional certifications or progress toward RICS or equivalent membership is a plus.
