**About the Role**
**Descon Engineering**
is seeking a skilled
**QA/QC Engineer – Civil**
to support civil and structural works for brownfield and retrofitting projects in Oil \& Gas facilities. The role involves ensuring construction quality, compliance with drawings, specifications, and international standards in live plant environments.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Implement QA/QC procedures for civil and structural works.
* Perform site inspections for concrete, reinforcement, steel erection, and modification works.
* Ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, and safety requirements.
* Manage NCRs, inspections, testing records, and QA/QC documentation.
**Qualifications \& Experience**
* Bachelor’s degree in
**Civil Engineering**
.
* **5–7 years**
QA/QC experience in Oil \& Gas, petrochemical, or industrial brownfield projects.
* Experience working in
**live operating plants**
is essential.
**Technical Skills**
* Knowledge of civil/structural QA/QC practices.
* Familiarity with quality standards.
* Strong inspection, documentation, and coordination skills.
