Job Description
Summary:
The Project Manager\-Civil will be responsible for overseeing civil construction projects, specifically focusing on mid\-rise to high\-rise commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, knowledge of UAE/GCC authorities, and proficiency in project control methodologies.
Responsibility:
\- Manage full\-cycle project control including programme, cost, risk, and contracts, with a preference for FIDIC standards.
\- Oversee the delivery of mid\-rise to high\-rise projects, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
\- Utilize UAE/GCC authority knowledge to navigate regulations and requirements from entities such as DM, Trakhees, Civil Defence, and DEWA.
\- Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within timelines and budgets.
\- Implement project management best practices and tools to streamline project workflows and communication.
Candidate Requirements:
\- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a Master's in Construction Management/Project Management being a plus.
\- A minimum of 15 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 7 years in a Project Manager role.
\- Demonstrated experience in delivering mid\-rise to high\-rise commercial or residential projects (minimum G\+15\).
\- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, BIM, and platforms like Procore or Aconex.
\- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or CIOB is preferred.
\- Prior experience working in the UAE/GCC market and familiarity with local authorities and regulations.
