Project Engineer – Diesel Power Generation Systems
Job Summary
Responsible for the execution and coordination of diesel generator projects from order receipt through engineering, documentation, manufacturing, FAT, delivery, commissioning support, and project close-out. Acts as the primary technical interface between customers, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
-Review project specifications, contract documents, and client requirements.
-Coordinate engineering activities for diesel generator packages.
-Prepare and review technical documentation, including:
- General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Wiring Diagrams
- Foundation Drawings
- Fuel System Drawings
- Fire Detection \& Suppression System Drawings
- O\&M Manuals
- FAT/SAT Procedures
- Method Statements
- Inspection \& Test Plans (ITP)
- Quality Plans
- Certificates of Conformity
- Warranty Certificates
- Comment Response Sheets (CRS)
-Review consultant comments and coordinate revisions with engineering teams.
-Liaise with customers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and commercial issues.
-Monitor manufacturing progress and coordinate with production to meet project schedules.
-Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), inspections, and customer visits.
-Coordinate with client and logistics department to ensure timely deliveries without any issues.
-Coordinate commissioning activities.
-Review purchase orders, commercial terms, and payment milestones in coordination with the sales team.
-Prepare technical clarifications, compliance statements, and deviation reports.
-Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
-Maintain project documentation and ensure timely submission of engineering documents.

- Experience working with OEM and aftermarket parts.
