Project Engineer - Civil

****Main Responsibilities\-**** * Lead review/commenting on civil engineering work performed by contractors engaged for FEED, Basic/Detailed design, EPCC contracts and other technical studies. Such engineering work includes development of foundation drawings, layouts, general cut and fill plans etc. Moreover, develop layout plans for well locations in conjunction with Drilling Department to ensure that necessary civil\-related requirements and specifications are met for all Drilling activities. * Co\-ordinate with Project Engineers \& Leads to perform all the assigned tasks related to civil discipline and assist in multiple Surface Facility Projects. Provide assistance and support to Project Leads in preparing and monitoring the departmental budget to ensure that overall progress and expenditure remains in line with the Company Business Plans. Liaise within the department to provide departmental inputs for budget, accruals and cash call to Finance Directorate. * Prepare proposals for various projects during Project Definition and Conceptual stages and submit to Project Leads for review/comments. * Monitoring \& Controlling all Civil Works Projects to balance competing demands of Project Constraints (Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Resources and Risk). Setting up plan for mobilization of contractors for construction of well location \& allied works, civil works for different small to large size projects and coordination with all other departments with respect to civil works. * Liaise with other disciplines within the department at office and provide technical support to the site team to resolve civil engineering problems encountered in projects from project initiation to project execution stages and ensure that all relevant standards, procedures and contract documents are being followed. * Participate in the process of selection of contractors / service companies to ensure availability of required services well in time. Prepare/review civil engineering sections of Invitations to Bid (ITBs) for engineering and design contractors/consultants ensuring that the project Scope of Work is well defined to achieve project objectives. Evaluate bid proposals to ensure that they comply with the project objectives and provide support on technical aspects during contract negotiation stage. * Provide effective interface between Contractor, Community Development, Security and Drilling Department to ensure timely and smooth execution of work. * Monitoring and Implementation of SD\&HSE procedures of the Company on all Civil Works Projects. * Support Manager Projects for preparing departmental progress updates and presentations for various meetings e.g. monthly performance review, OCM/TCM etc. **Qualification\-** * Graduate in Civil Engineering **Professional competencies\-** * Knowledge of applicable Engineering Codes \& Standards/Best Practices, Project Management and QA/QC aspects of Oil \& Gas surface facilities projects **Experience\-** * At least 5 years of relevant industry’s experience **Employee Status** Regular\- Indefinite **Job Level** Individual Contributor **Education Level** Bachelor's Degree **Location** Pakistan\-Islamabad
