Our client Riphah International University is looking for a Professor of Computing in REMOTE
Riphah International University seeks a highly qualified Professor in Computing to contribute to its academic excellence and research innovation. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in a relevant computing field and possesses a minimum of fifteen years of teaching experience or at least ten years of post-Ph.D. experience. This role demands strong expertise in curriculum development, research methodology, academic writing, and committed student mentoring. The professor will play a central role in advancing computing education and driving scholarly research within the university, maintaining a rigorous standard through publication in recognized academic journals.
The position requires the candidate to have demonstrated a significant publication record, with at least fifteen articles published in Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized journals, including five to seven recent publications to reflect continuous research activity. Responsibilities

- Mentor and guide undergraduate and postgraduate students, supporting their academic growth, research projects, and career development.
- Engage in curriculum review and enhancement initiatives to ensure the program remains current, competitive, and responsive to emerging computing trends.
- Participate in departmental and university-level committees to support academic governance and policy formulation.
- Collaborate with faculty members and external stakeholders to promote interdisciplinary research and academic partnerships.
- Utilize advanced research methodologies to investigate significant computing challenges and contribute to knowledge advancement.
- Prepare grant proposals and seek funding opportunities that support research activities and academic innovation.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and quality assurance standards in all academic and research activities.
- Stay informed about new developments in computing education and research to continuously improve pedagogical approaches and research focus.
