Procurement Engineer (Civil)

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer (Civil) to manage and coordinate procurement activities for civil construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery in line with project specifications, budget, and timelines. **Key Responsibilities** * Handle procurement of civil construction materials, equipment, and subcontract services * Prepare and issue RFQs, RFIs, and purchase orders * Evaluate technical and commercial bids in coordination with engineering and QS teams * Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors * Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and company procedures * Coordinate with site, planning, and finance teams to ensure timely material delivery * Maintain supplier database and evaluate vendor performance * Monitor procurement schedules and resolve supply\-related issues * Ensure compliance with UAE standards and local authority requirements **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering * 4 – 6 years of procurement experience in civil construction projects (UAE experience preferred) * Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and local suppliers * Experience with contracts, BOQs, and procurement documentation * Good negotiation and communication skills * Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle is an advantage) * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines **Preferred** * Experience in UAE infrastructure or building projects * Knowledge of FIDIC contracts * Immediate or short notice availability **Salary range: AED 4,000–5,000 (depending on the candidate’s experience)** **Candidates without contracting experience as a Procurement Engineer will not be considered**
