Greenhouse is looking for a Principal Marketing Analytics Manager to join our team!
Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, the Principal Marketing Analytics Manager owns the analytics strategy, reporting architecture, and performance insights for the entire marketing organization. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that serves as the strategic engine behind our growth.
In this role, you will do more than manage data; you will manage intelligence. You will deliver the analytics, dashboards, and insights required to optimize performance, but your real value lies in your ability to synthesize that data into a compelling narrative. You will be the primary architect of our executive-level operating reviews and QBRs, translating complex data into the "So What" that drives investment decisions at the highest levels of the company.
Who will love this job
- A data devotee – You are obsessed with the narratives hidden in data and excel at translating technical metrics into strategic business stories that resonate with executives.
- A Proactive Partner – You don't wait for a ticket or a roadmap. You sit in the huddles with Demand Gen, Content, and Brand leads, identifying their pain points and building solutions before they even ask.
- A Master Storyteller – You have the "Executive Presence" to walk into a QBR and not just present numbers, but provide a clear perspective on where we are winning, where we are losing, and where we must pivot.
- An AI-First Builder – You have a high "Bias for Action" and use AI to scale your impact. You’d rather use an LLM to help you ship a v1.0 dashboard today than spend a month drafting a framework that never launches.
- A Radical Collaborator – You enjoy the "enablement" side of the house. You find fulfillment in building tools and "bots" that make the rest of the team smarter and faster.
What you’ll do
- Build & Automate: Own the technical "Single Source of Truth." You will move our urgent OKR and KPI reporting from manual spreadsheets to automated, centralized dashboards in Snowflake and Tableau.
- Analyze & Synthesize: Conduct deep-dive audits of our marketing spend. You will look across attribution models (WMT vs. First Touch) to uncover hidden opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Executive Storytelling: Lead the preparation for Marketing Operating Reviews and QBRs. You will build, analyze, and synthesize performance data into high-impact presentations for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Enable the Team: Act as an internal consultant for functional marketing leads. You will define and track 3–5 KPIs per function and build self-service "intelligence bots" (using AI where appropriate) so the team can answer their own data questions in real-time.
- Cross-Functional Catalyst: Partner closely with Revenue Analytics, Data Engineering, and Finance to ensure marketing data is a shared, trusted language across the entire organization
You should have
- 8+ years of experience in B2B Marketing Analytics or Revenue Operations, with a master-level understanding of the marketing funnel and enterprise sales cycles.
- Full-Stack Technical Literacy: Expert SQL and Snowflake skills are a must. You should be comfortable manipulating and transforming raw data without a hand-holder.
- Executive Presence: Proven experience prepping and presenting to C-Suite/VP-level stakeholders. You can defend your data under pressure and turn insights into action.
- A Bias for Action: A track record of identifying gaps and independently driving projects to completion. You are a "ship-it" person who prioritizes delivery velocity.
- AI Power User: You use AI tools (Cursor, LLMs, agents) to automate your workflow, write code, and scale your ability to support a large team.
- Attribution Expertise: Deep knowledge of multi-touch attribution (Bizible/SFDC) and the ability to explain the nuances of different models to non-technical audiences.
- Your own unique talents! Your background has given you a unique perspective and set of transferable skills that aren't always in alignment with a given role - but those are qualities we value at Greenhouse. If you don't meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above, we still strongly encourage you to apply
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
If you are based in California, we encourage you to read this important information for California residents linked here.
The national pay range for this role is $145,000 - $188,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
Greenhouse provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, mental health resources, financial wellness benefits, and a fully paid parental leave program. For US-based employees, we offer short-term and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and company match. U.S. based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 14 scheduled paid holidays and up to 80 hours of paid sick leave. Non-exempt employees accrue up to 20-25 days of paid vacation time annually, depending on tenure, and exempt employees have flexible paid time off (PTO).
The anticipated closing date for this role is May 22, 2026.
