Pre-Op Supervisor

Job Description

As our new Pre-operational Supervisor, you will lead the hygiene charge at our Youfoodz production facility! You’ll be the driving force behind our sanitation standards, ensuring everything is sparkling and compliant before production kicks off each day.

This role is based in our Brisbane facility (Karawatha) and reports to the Team Leader and Pre-operational Manager. 

You will…

• Lead and inspire a dedicated team of cleaners to achieve top-tier hygiene standards daily.
• Sign off on pre-op tasks in collaboration with the QA team, including scheduled and periodic cleans.
• Drive a high-performance culture through mentoring, cross-training, and positive communication.
• Conduct daily pre-start meetings to ensure the team is aligned with production and safety requirements.
• Manage chemical usage and safety documentation (Beakon) to maintain a secure working environment.
• Investigate hygiene-related issues and play a key role in process improvements and RCAs.

You have…

• Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar hygiene-critical industry.
• Strong understanding of GMP, sanitation practices, and chemical safety.
• The ability to work rotational fortnightly shifts, including every second weekend (8 pm - 4 am).

Start Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice period

Duration: Permanent full-time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia.
