Petrosin Engineering Pvt Ltd is looking for a meticulous and proactive Point of Sale (POS) Executive to effectively manage and support the day-to-day operations of the POS system. This role requires a professional who can operate and maintain the POS infrastructure, ensuring smooth functionality and data accuracy. The ideal candidate will play a key role in generating detailed reports on sales and inventory, analyzing these reports to help optimize stock management, and coordinating with various internal departments to streamline procurement and operational processes. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential to maintain accurate item master data, pricing, and supplier information while supporting continuous inventory monitoring.
The candidate will also be responsible for identifying fast-moving and slow-moving stock items, preparing minimum stock level reports and processing purchase requests accordingly to maintain optimal inventory levels. User support and basic troubleshooting for the POS system are part of the daily Responsibilities
, ensuring minimal disruption in retail operations. Compliance with company policies and reporting standards is critical to maintain data integrity and operational efficiency. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and does not involve managing a team, focusing instead on individual contribution and detailed execution.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure seamless retail transactions and data accuracy.
- Design, generate, and analyze POS reports to provide management with actionable insights into sales trends and inventory performance.
- Prepare Minimum Stock Level Reports and monitor inventory levels regularly to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Process inventory purchase requests based on stock analysis to maintain adequate stock levels aligned with business needs.
- Monitor stock movement to identify slow-moving and fast-moving items, assisting in inventory optimization and demand forecasting.
- Maintain accurate item master data including product details, pricing, categories, and supplier information within the POS system.
- Coordinate effectively with stores, procurement, and operations departments to ensure smooth inventory flow and timely replenishment.
- Verify inventory transactions for accuracy and consistency, ensuring all data entries and updates comply with company policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory reports for operational review and strategic decision-making.
- Provide user support and basic troubleshooting services for POS-related issues to minimize system downtime and enhance user experience.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting standards to maintain operational excellence.
