**Platform Engineer** 📍 UK Remote / Hybrid (1\-2 days per month in office) 💰 £85,000 \- £95,000 \+ Discretionary Bonus A growing technology business is looking for a Platform Engineer to join its infrastructure and cloud team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in designing, building and maintaining secure, scalable cloud platforms while working closely with senior technical and business stakeholders. The organisation has around 70 employees and offers a collaborative environment where engineers are trusted to take ownership and make a real impact. This role would suit someone who is technically strong but also comfortable stepping up and leading conversations when required. What you'll be doing * Designing, implementing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure * Building and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform * Developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or CircleCI * Managing containerised environments using Kubernetes and/or Docker * Implementing and maintaining cloud security controls, including IAM and security monitoring solutions * Monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising platform performance, reliability and scalability * Working closely with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency * Supporting senior stakeholders with technical updates and incident communication when required What we're looking for * 3\-5 years' experience in a Platform Engineering, DevOps or Cloud Engineering role * Strong AWS and cloud architecture experience * Hands\-on Terraform experience * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines * Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and/or Docker * Exposure to security tooling such as SIEM platforms and Identity \& Access Management (IAM) * Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues * Strong communication skills and the confidence to work independently * Comfortable taking ownership and acting as a technical lead when needed Nice to have * Python scripting or automation experience * Experience with observability, monitoring and logging platforms * Knowledge of cloud security best practices What's on offer * Salary up to £95,000 * Discretionary bonus * Hybrid working (typically 1\-2 days per month in the office) * Streamlined 2\-stage interview process * Opportunity to join a growing business where you can influence platform strategy and develop leadership experience Please contact olivia.castle@sandersonplc.com
