A rapidly growing, venture\-backed SaaS company at the forefront of generative AI is seeking its first
**People Operations Manager**
. This organization is building a category\-defining platform used by leading enterprise customers and is entering a critical phase of scale.
This is a foundational hire responsible for establishing and scaling the People function from the ground up. The role offers significant ownership and visibility, partnering closely with leadership to build processes, programs, and infrastructure that support rapid growth.
**The Role**
This is a highly hands\-on, “builder” role for someone who thrives in fast\-paced environments and enjoys wearing multiple hats. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for all HR\-related initiatives while helping create a strong operational backbone for the company’s next stage.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Build and scale the People Operations function, including policies, processes, and systems
* Own core HR functions such as onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
* Partner with leadership to support organizational growth and workforce planning
* Manage and enhance employee experience initiatives, including benefits and engagement programs
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices (multi\-state exposure is a plus)
* Support recruiting coordination and hiring processes as needed
* Act as a trusted resource for employees across the organization

**Ideal Background**
* \~5\+ years of experience in HR / People Operations
* Experience in a startup or high\-growth environment strongly preferred
* Proven ability to build or scale HR processes and programs
* Proactive, self\-starter mindset with strong ownership
* Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically
* Recruiting or talent operations experience is a plus
