Role Description
The Order Entry Specialist will accurately enter and maintain orders in the company’s systems, ensuring all details, specifications, and documentation are complete and compliant with internal standards.
Responsibilities
- Enter customer orders into the company database accurately and efficiently.
- Review orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify customer information, product details, pricing, and shipping information.
- Update order records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status when needed.
- Communicate with internal departments to resolve order discrepancies.
- Monitor incoming emails and process order requests promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous data entry, administrative, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and email applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to type at least 35–45 words per minute preferred.
