About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day standards, sales growth, and profitability across a 5-restaurant portfolio operating under a well-established international sports bar and casual dining brand in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Standards \& Compliance
- Own day-to-day execution of brand standards across food safety, prep discipline, kitchen efficiency, bar operations, and service.
- Lead and prepare for franchisor audits, ensuring consistent compliance across all 5 sites.
- Identify and close operational gaps before they become guest or compliance issues.
Sales Growth \& Guest Experience
- Drive local sales growth through local marketing initiatives, promotions, and guest experience improvements.
- Own and improve NPS/OSAT scores across the portfolio, with hands-on guest recovery and complaint resolution.
- Leverage delivery platforms and online ordering channels to grow incremental revenue.
P\&L \& Cost Control
- Hold restaurant-level P\&L accountability across all 5 units — COGS, labour cost, and overall profitability.
- Proactively identify margin leaks and implement corrective action plans.
- Provide input on capex trade-offs and investment priorities across the portfolio.
People \& GM Development
- Hire, train, coach, and retain General Managers and shift leaders.
- Document performance formally, building clear development plans for future leaders.
- Oversee and support a combined team of 100+ hourly team members through the GM and shift leader structure.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in casual dining or sports bar restaurant operations.
- 3+ years as an Area Manager or Senior Area Manager, managing 3–5 restaurants simultaneously.
- Direct, restaurant-level P\&L accountability, including COGS, labour cost, and food safety management.
- A proven track record of growing sales and guest satisfaction (NPS/OSAT) across multiple units.
- Experience managing 100+ hourly team members through a GM and shift-leader structure.
- Solid working knowledge of brand standards and franchisor audit processes
