ST Group is a diversified Hamilton\-based enterprise operating across metal recycling, trading, and commercial real estate. Our flagship operation, EISA Trading Inc., is one of the region's established players in scrap metal trading and export, while our property portfolio spans multiple commercial and industrial holdings across the Hamilton area.
We are a hands\-on, family\-run business where every team member's contribution is visible and valued. The successful candidate will be the administrative backbone supporting operations across all our entities — from the scrapyard floor to the executive office.
The Role
We're looking for an organized, dependable, and sharp Office Administrator to manage the day\-to\-day administrative operations of our head office at 842 Nebo Rd. This is not a quiet desk job — it's a dynamic role where you'll interact with drivers, suppliers, customers, banks, and senior management every single day.
You will be the first point of contact for the office and the person who keeps documentation, cash flow records, and load paperwork moving without bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming and outgoing load documentation (weigh tickets, bills of lading, shipping paperwork)
* Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems across all group entities
* Handle cash receipts, petty cash, and daily cash reconciliation with full accountability
* Prepare Excel\-based reports, trackers, and summaries for management review
* Draft professional emails, letters, and correspondence on behalf of the company
* Coordinate with banks, vendors, tenants, and service providers
* Support property management documentation for the group's real estate portfolio
* Run occasional errands to banks, government offices, or other group locations (driver's license required)
* Maintain office supplies, equipment, and a presentable front office
What We're Looking For — Must\-Haves
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills — comfortable with formulas, sorting/filtering, and building clean trackers (you may be tested)
* Excellent written and verbal English communication — emails, phone calls, and walk\-in visitors
* Cash handling experience with a track record of accuracy and integrity
* Office documentation and filing experience — physical and digital
* Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle
* Ability to perform under pressure in a busy operational environment
* Legally authorized to work in Canada — we are unable to provide visa sponsorship or LMIA support
Nice\-to\-Haves
* Prior experience in logistics, trucking, scrap metal, or property management offices
* Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
* Bilingual ability (English \+ Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi) is a plus, not a requirement
What We Offer
* Competitive salary: CAD $50,000 – $60,000 per annum (based on experience)
