Search Jobs by Keyword \| Search Jobs by Location \| Back to Middle East Share this Job Choose how often (in days) you want to receive a notification: Closing date: 03/05/2026 Number of positions: 1 Recruiter name: Elgera Guadalquiver Reference number: 69469 Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital \| Abu Dhabi \| United Arab Emirates **MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB** To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient\-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences **KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS** * To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team * To ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards * To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement * To manage allocated clinical and non\-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care * To monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement * Facilitate, lead and sustain the hospital's BFHI accreditation programme **Required Education** Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Midwifery from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field Desired: IBLC certification/Lactation Consultant qualification **Required Experience** Essential: At least 3\-5 years’ senior maternity/postnatal nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital Desired: 5\-10 years senior maternity/postnatal nursing experience Desired: Lactation Consultant **Required Job Skills And Knowledge** * Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5\) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation) * Presentation Skills * UAE Labour Law * Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications * Cost management principles * Demonstrate Nursing functional competence (Nursing practice) * Demonstrate the ability to manage meetings effectively * Quality management and governance standards and best practice * Risk management principles, systems and best practice * Skilled in the demonstration and assessment of all relevant clinical procedures * Stock control principles and management * UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements * Workforce planning and scheduling All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
