What you’ll do:
* Develop and evaluate Medicare payment policies with clinical input
* Conduct policy analysis related to Prospective Payment Systems (PPS)
* Provide clinical consultation to leadership and stakeholders
* Prepare policy documents, regulatory text, and briefing materials
* Collaborate across CMS and with external partners on healthcare policy
What we’re looking for (GS\-13\):
Applicants must have
**1 year specialized experience equivalent to GS\-12**
, including:
* Providing clinical input into Medicare payment policy
* Analyzing healthcare payment systems (e.g., PPS, billing, provider operations)
* Advising on clinical application of payment provisions
Required Qualifications:
* Active, unrestricted
**Registered Nurse (RN) license**
* Must have passed
**NCLEX**
* Degree from an accredited nursing program (

)
