Night Duty Manager

**Pay:** Up to £27,476\.80 per year Job Description: Are you a calm and responsible individual that is accustomed to working through the night on shifts..? We are looking for a competent individual to support the smooth operation of the hotel during the course of the night and to ensure guest satisfaction through exceptional service at all times. **Key Responsibilities of a Night Duty Manager include:** * Checking and balancing all revenue outlets and producing an audit package according to the specification laid down by Company procedures * Ensuring all guests are greeted in a friendly and courteous manner * Ensuring a smooth handover between shifts and making sure the night staff are fully conversant with all late functions in the hotel * Handling all complaints from guests appropriately, escalating only where necessary * Being fully aware of and supporting any hotel emergency/fire evacuation procedures needed throughout the night, and assisting in carrying out security and fire checks throughout the hotel and car park **Key skills of a Night Duty Manager include:** * Confident in handling potentially high pressure situations i.e. emergency evacuations * Competent user of Opera PMS, particularly with knowledge of running the 'Night Audit' function desirable **About The Hotel** The Copthorne Hotel Plymouth, is located in the heart of the bustling city centre and provides glorious views over Britain's "Ocean City".
