Our client in Richmond Hill is seeking to hire a National Sales Director........... This Senior Commercial Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in the multi\-unit high/low rise residential construction, developer, property management companies, designer, contractor, renovator, retirement living industries as well as government opportunities. In addition, the position provides on going leadership, support to local supervisors, admin staff, and field sales reps with an emphasis on sales growth. You will actively assist the regional leadership and sales team’s secure projects both large and small, guide business development initiatives, assist in the delivery and ultimately best in class service levels for new and existing customers. **Responsibilities:** * **Sales Leadership** National role leading and supporting regional management, a large sales force, operations, and customer service across 8 regions with contract negotiations, including the development of quotes, proposals, presentations and new business development * Lead, mentor and develop regional management reports, and sales group into high performing teams * Financial acumen with expertise in planning and **P\&L management** * Monitor team and region KPI’s across won / lost analysis, discounting, pricing and margin vs expectations * Develop and execute a multi\-year commercial strategy aligned with corporate objectives * Provide sales coaching and mentorship to existing sales, customer service, and admin teams * Identify, onboard and coach new sales team members as required to support the growth initiatives * Proactively in co\-operation with the sales team prospect for new business opportunities * Strategic thinker who balances vision with disciplined execution * Drive expansion into new markets, channels, and customer segments * **Operational Leadership** Ensure alignment between sales, customer service, fleet delivery, and installation for the coast\-to\-coast operations to achieve Best in Class expectations in customer satisfaction and growth plans * Provide sales support and direction for all customers, and projects being delivered with active involvement in on\-site meetings and regional travel as required. * Overall responsibility for meeting planned inventory targets, turns and disposition of “Obsolete, As Is” inventory * Assists support team to ensure inventory allocation, shipping and on\-time delivery for projects. **Qualifications:** * **Must have demonstrated recent experience selling into builders** * Post\-Secondary Education in Business or Marketing with minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales team management. * Experience as a sales leader for a supplier, distributor, or dealer working within the builder / developer construction industry is favorable * Creative sales leader with an ability to think outside the box identifying new growth opportunities. * Skills demonstrating a clear understanding of “true salesmanship, and customer service” with success in creating long term partnerships at both the executive and project management levels. * Proven leadership experience and knowledge of Regional Management with the ability to create and execute growth strategies within assigned region to deliver against sales targets. * Outstanding organizational, leadership, coaching, and time management skills. * P\&L experience at the sales, margin, and operations level. * Having a “growth mindset and sense of accountability”. * Problem solver with the ability to “get things done” within the confines of company process and expectations **This position offers commissions and bonus shares and 155k to 165k base salary**
