Job Description

Our client in Richmond Hill is seeking to hire a National Director of Sales. Applicants must have recent experience with Sales to residential Builder, residential high rise would be an asset.

National Commercial Sales Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in the multi-unit high/low rise residential construction, developer, property management companies, designer, contractor, renovator, retirement living industries as well as government opportunities. In addition, the position provides on going leadership, support to local supervisors, admin staff, and field sales reps with an emphasis on sales growth. You will actively assist the regional leadership and sales team’s secure projects both large and small, guide business development initiatives, assist in the delivery and ultimately best in class service levels for new and existing customers

.Responsibilities

:Sales Leadershi

p• National role leading and supporting regional management, a large sales force, operations, and customer service across 8 regions with contract negotiations, including the development of quotes, proposals, presentations and new business developmen

t• Lead, mentor and develop regional management reports, and sales group into high performing team

s• Financial acumen with expertise in planning and P\&L managemen

t• Monitor team and region KPI’s across won / lost analysis, discounting, pricing and margin vs expectation

s• Develop and execute a multi-year commercial strategy aligned with corporate objective

s• Provide sales coaching and mentorship to existing sales, customer service, and admin team

s• Identify, onboard and coach new sales team members as required to support the growth initiative

s• Proactively in co-operation with the sales team prospect for new business opportunitie

s• Strategic thinker who balances vision with disciplined executio

n• Drive expansion into new markets, channels, and customer segment

ip• Ensure alignment between sales, customer service, fleet delivery, and installation for the coast-to-coast operations to achieve Best in Class expectations in customer satisfaction and growth pla

Qualificatio**

ns:• Post-Secondary Education in Business or Marketing with minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales team manageme

nt.• Experience as a sales leader for a supplier, distributor, or dealer working within the builder / developer construction industry is favora

ble• Creative sales leader with an ability to think outside the box identifying new growth opportuniti

es.• Skills demonstrating a clear understanding of “true salesmanship, and customer service” with success in creating long term partnerships at both the executive and project management leve
