Job Description
**Position Summary:**
The National Account Manager will maintain \& enhance strategic business relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new prospects within their designated territory. Consistently achieving Sales growth targets outlined by the Director of Sales, this role involves developing \& managing joint business plans for each retail account, developing distribution channels, and providing vision for sales strategies and execution.
**Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
* Develop strategic relationships with customers/buyers to drive “win\-win” partnerships. Maximize relationships with key retail and wholesale partners and build relationships with all key stakeholders at the account level.
* Develop, manage, and nurture new business opportunities to accomplish profit and volume goals in line with monthly and annual targets set by the Sales Director.
* Develop and implement quarterly and/or annual sales plans and programs for all assigned sales accounts.
* Owns the end\-to\-end planning, alignment, execution \& presentation of the Product Line Review Process
* Hold strategic discussions with assigned accounts and prospects that help us to better understand their needs and position us for future growth and a differentiated value proposition.
* Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product substitution alternatives when necessary.
* Act as liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients requirements are met.
* Collect customer information, research, analyze and deliver a solution set to customers in clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
* Participate in trade shows, conventions, company events.
* Develop and implement distribution strategies, reselling agreements, and other growth opportunities for existing and new customers.
* Keeps abreast of product knowledge, market conditions and competitive activities as well as current promotional and marketing trends.
* Conduct sales forecasts and weekly and/or monthly status reports.
* Responsible for monthly sales reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
* Conduct market competitive analysis and report on findings and recommendations.
* Support and/or lead continuous improvement initiatives.
* Conduct all work duties as per the Occupational Health \& Safety Act \& Regulations, the health, safety \& environmental policies, and Quality policies as established by Multy Home.
**Education and/or Experience**
* University degree in business/marketing and a minimum of 10 years related work experience.
* Strong experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning.
* Excellent Relationship building skills.
* Advanced presentation and public speaking skills
* Exceptional listening and communication skills
* A well\-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
* Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
* Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
* Excellent grasp of brand building and articulation of value propositions.
* Demonstrated knowledge of marketing and advertising theories and practices.
* Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and financial practices.
* Experience creating and managing budgets for a large, distributed department.
* Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
* Experience creating sales plans.
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
