Multi-Grade, Geographically Remote Position

Full Time, Continuing. Effective September 1st, 2026\. This multi\-grade, geographically remote opportunity is an ideal opportunity for the applicant who: * Has an interest in remote teaching * Has the ability to teach a wide variety of subjects and grade levels in multi\-grade settings * Has the desire to be surrounded by nature * Has the ability to work well with First Nations communities * Is comfortable with basic amenities * Has adequate transportation that would be appropriate for gravel highways/roads This position will either be primary/intermediate focused or intermediate/junior secondary focused however the applicant must be aware that the assignment will include a variation of all grades during certain parts of the schedule. This school operates on a 4 day per week schedule (extended days) with Friday off. **This position may qualify for a pre\-employment incentive.** **Special Qualifications Required** To learn more about the area, please visit: * Training and experience teaching multigrades at the elementary level * Experience working in geographically remote locations (or relevant life experience living in geographically remote locations) * Valid BC Teaching Certification with the Teacher Regulation Branch **Salary** The salary of this assignment is based on our current salary grid and upon verification of your BC TQS as well as verification of years of service from previous employers. The current salary range is $57, 972\.00 to $106, 217\.00 per annum, paid over 10 months. Teachers can expect to see the educational leaders in our District, up to 2 days prior to a Professional Development Day, offering hands on coaching both in the classroom and in sessions (evening or during the Professional Development Day).
