Mid Senior TypeScript Engineer, AI & Cold Email Automation

**📍 Fully Remote \| 🕐 Flexible Hours** **About the role** We run production grade B2B cold email pipelines at scale, scraping, enrichment, AI personalization, and high volume sending. Our stack: TypeScript, workflow orchestrators, PostgreSQL, and a growing ecosystem of LLM and lead intelligence APIs. We're hiring a technical owner for this stack. Someone who will take end to end responsibility for making our systems measurably smarter, cheaper, and more reliable every month. This is an engineering seat. You'll ship production code, not configure SaaS tools. **What you'll build** *→ Scalable scraping and enrichment pipelines that identify target companies and surface verified DMU contact details* *→ A transcript to campaign generator that converts sales discovery calls into ready to send outreach using LLMs* *→ Cross client deliverability intelligence, a unified dashboard for inbox placement, bounce rates, blacklist monitoring, and domain health* *→ Eval driven enrichment systems with regression test suites for every LLM prompt change* *→ Cost aware LLM orchestration that uses cheaper models first and escalates only when needed* *→ Signal based outreach triggers that detect hiring announcements, tech stack changes, and LinkedIn activity* **Must haves** *Production grade TypeScript with shipped projects* *Engineering level expertise with n8n, Temporal, Airflow, or equivalent* *Hands on PostgreSQL at production scale* *At least one shipped LLM backed feature using OpenAI or Anthropic SDKs (prompt engineering, evals, structured outputs)* *Strong cold email domain knowledge, deliverability, warmup, bounce and reply dynamics, SPF, DKIM, DMARC* *Clear written English for async work* **Nice to haves** *Web scraping with Apify, Playwright, or Puppeteer* *Experience with Apollo, Clay, Instantly, or Smartlead* *Vector databases and embeddings* *Data enrichment pipelines at scale* **Don't apply if** *You've never shipped production code that calls an LLM API* *You need tickets handed to you* *You're a VA or SOP follower hoping to level up* *You prefer no code over real code* **Hiring process** 5 question async screener, written Paid 2 week trial, real bug fix and system design task in our actual repo Offer, based entirely on trial performance **Why join** * Full ownership of a critical, high leverage system.
