Intercap is a place for people who want their work to matter, and for that work to compound over time. **About the Role** The **Manager of People Operations** helps build and run the systems that allow Intercap to hire exceptional people, support them well, and operate smoothly as we grow. This role sits at the intersection of **people, operations, and organizational infrastructure** . You will help operate the company’s hiring engine, improve and maintain core people systems, and support leadership with the data and processes needed to manage teams effectively. Because Intercap builds multiple businesses, this role also helps maintain the shared **Talent Stack** that supports hiring, compensation, and employee lifecycle processes across the organization. The ideal candidate is organized, detail\-oriented, and practical. They enjoy building systems that make teams more effective and are comfortable working directly with leadership. This role has big potential to evolve over time. **What You’ll Do** **Talent Acquisition \& Hiring** Help operate and improve Intercap’s hiring engine. Responsibilities include: * Managing full\-cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, screening, and interview coordination * Partnering with hiring managers to define roles and support hiring decisions * Maintaining candidate pipelines and recruiting systems * Ensuring a thoughtful and professional candidate experience * Coordinating offers and onboarding logistics **Employee Lifecycle \& HR Operations** Maintain the infrastructure that supports the employee experience. Responsibilities include: * Managing onboarding and offboarding processes * Maintaining organized and confidential employee records * Supporting employment agreements and HR documentation * Coordinating systems access, training, and onboarding workflows * Ensuring consistent people processes across teams **Payroll, Benefits \& Compliance** Ensure people operations run accurately and in compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include: * Processing payroll accurately and on schedule * Maintaining payroll records and coordinating with external providers * Supporting benefits administration and employee questions * Maintaining HR policies and employment documentation **Talent Management \& Compensation** Support the systems that help the organization develop and retain strong teams. Responsibilities include: * Coordinating performance review and talent assessment cycles * Supporting compensation review processes and benchmarking * Maintaining compensation records and job architecture data * Assisting with promotion and development tracking **HR Systems, Data \& Reporting** Provide leadership with visibility into the organization. Responsibilities include: * Maintaining the company org chart and headcount tracking * Ensuring HR systems and employee data remain accurate * Supporting reporting on hiring, headcount, and people metrics * Preparing materials for compensation and talent discussions **Office \& Internal Operations** Help ensure the workplace runs smoothly. Responsibilities include: * Supporting office operations and internal logistics * Coordinating team events and internal initiatives * Helping maintain an organized and productive workplace environment * Supporting leadership with coordination across teams when needed **What You’ll Bring** * 3–5 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or HR administration * Experience with payroll processing and HR systems * Strong organizational and time\-management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Ability to manage confidential information with discretion * A practical mindset and interest in building strong teams and systems * Comfort working in a fast\-moving environment with evolving responsibilities **Work Location** This role is **based onsite at Intercap HQ in Toronto** , where collaboration and team culture are central to how we work.
