What is Manager Integration \& Digital Legal - Mobilink Bank
The Officer, Integration \& Digital Legal provides dedicated legal and documentation support to the Head of Integration and Digital Legal in relation to Mobilink Bank's digital banking, systems integration and technology-partnership workstreams arising from the Bank's transformation from a Microfinance Bank (MFB) to a Digital Full Bank (DFB). The role is responsible for the day-to-day legal groundwork underpinning digital product launches, technology and vendor integrations. In addition this role will also be responsible to integrate the Bank and oversee all litigation files, contracts and governance related matters as delegted.
This is a hands-on position suited to a detail-oriented lawyer who is comfortable working across legal, technology and business teams, managing multiple contracts and documentation trails in parallel, and turning around accurate, well-organised legal work within tight transformation timelines.
What Manager Integration \& Digital Legal Does - Mobilink Bank?
*1. Contract and Agreement Support*
- Draft, review and redline commercial agreements relating to digital banking, fintech partnerships, API integrations, core banking and payment-switch arrangements, under the guidance of the Head of Integration and Digital Legal.
- Maintain and update standard templates for vendor, technology, outsourcing and digital-channel agreements, ensuring alignment with SBP outsourcing and technology-governance requirements.
- Track contract lifecycle milestones — renewals, expiries, deliverables and termination triggers — for all active integration and digital-partnership agreements.
*2. Integration*
- Support Head of Integration in all matters related to integration regarding all litigation, contracts, risk mitigation, relevant filings, steerco and Board meetings etc.
*3. Regulatory Documentation Assistance*
- Assist in compiling and maintaining documentation required for DFB-related regulatory submissions to SBP, including technology governance, cybersecurity and outsourcing annexures.
- Support preparation of board and management papers relating to digital and integration legal matters, including drafting summaries, extracts and supporting schedules.
- Maintain an organised, audit-ready repository of executed agreements, approvals, correspondence and regulatory filings relevant to the integration and digital legal workstream.
*4. Vendor and Third-Party Coordination*
- Coordinate legal due diligence for new technology vendors and digital partners, including collation of corporate, compliance and data-protection documentation.
- Support onboarding of fintech and platform partners by preparing checklists, tracking outstanding documentation and following up with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a day-to-day liaison point with external counsel on drafting queries and documentation requests relating to integration matters.
*5. Compliance and Risk Coordination*
- Work with Compliance, Risk and Information Security teams to flag legal and regulatory gaps identified during integration or product-onboarding reviews.
- Assist in monitoring adherence to data protection, cybersecurity and consumer-protection requirements applicable to digital products and integrations.
- Escalate material legal or regulatory issues promptly to the Head of Integration and Digital Legal, with supporting analysis.
*6. General Legal and Administrative Support*
- Provide research support on emerging digital banking regulations, SBP circulars and industry practice relevant to integration and digital legal matters.
- Prepare correspondence, memoranda and internal advisory notes as directed.
- Support the Head of Integration and Digital Legal in tracking action items, deadlines and deliverables across the digital legal workstream.
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Integration \& Digital Legal - Mobilink Bank?
*Essential*
- LLB (or equivalent law degree) from a recognised university; enrolment as an advocate is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in banking, financial services, technology/fintech legal practice, or a law firm advising financial institutions.
- Working knowledge of contract drafting and review, particularly technology, vendor and commercial agreements.
- Basic familiarity with SBP regulatory framework, banking laws and digital banking or fintech regulations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple documents, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
*Preferred*
- Prior exposure to digital banking, payments, API-based integrations or technology outsourcing arrangements.
- Familiarity with data protection principles and SBP's technology governance and cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience supporting regulatory submissions or license applications in a bank or financial institution.
