Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Leads Human Resources and Workplace Operations for the India site. Responsible for delivering effective HR business partnering, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and managing facilities and office operations to support business performance and employee experience.

Essential functions:

We’re looking for a strategic HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and is passionate about building high-performing organizations. Some responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with business leaders to align HR strategy with organizational goals, including workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning
  • Driving end-to-end talent processes including recruitment, onboarding, employer branding, performance management, and employee development
  • Managing employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and ensuring compliance with POSH and governance requirements
  • Leading employee engagement, retention, and well-being initiatives while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture
  • Collaborating with global teams on compensation programs, merit cycles, and career frameworks to support business growth
  • Overseeing benefits administration (PF, gratuity, insurance, leave policies) and ensuring seamless payroll coordination with finance
  • Ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws (PF, Gratuity, Shops \& Establishments, Bonus, leave regulations) and supporting audits and regulatory requirements
  • Liaising with legal, finance, and external bodies to maintain strong governance and compliance practices
  • Managing workplace operations including office infrastructure, vendor management (security, housekeeping, transport), and safety compliance
  • Driving facilities management including budgeting, procurement, contracts, space planning, office moves, and business continuity readiness
  • Enhancing employee experience by ensuring a safe, efficient, and engaging workplace environment
  • Supporting onboarding logistics, workspace setup, and leading workplace programs, events, and internal communications

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of HR experience, including at least 5+ years in HRBP and/or leadership roles
  • Experience working in multinational/global environments
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Experience in facilities management and workplace operations
  • Proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders in a matrixed organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent advanced qualification
  • Experience in hybrid HR + site leadership roles
  • Exposure to scaling and managing India operations
