Manager - Civil - Projects

**Responsibilities** Roles and Responsibilities * Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects related to power generation and energy infrastructure ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. * Design Review and Development: Oversee the review and validation of civil design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with regulatory and industry standards. * Construction Management: Manage onsite civil works, supervise contractors, and coordinate with cross\-functional teams to ensure safe and timely completion of construction activities, mitigating risks and resolving site issues effectively. * Quality Assurance and Control: Implement robust quality control processes throughout project phases, conducting inspections and audits to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and materials. * Cost and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement activities to optimize costs and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials. * Compliance and Safety: Ensure all civil engineering activities comply with statutory regulations, environmental policies, and Adani’s health and safety protocols promoting a culture of safety and sustainability. * Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary civil engineering team, fostering continuous learning and professional growth aligned with organizational objectives. * Stakeholder Coordination: Interface with clients, vendors, regulatory bodies, and internal departments to facilitate smooth communication and successful project outcomes. * Technical Innovation: Identify and implement innovative construction techniques and sustainable practices to enhance project efficiency and reduce environmental impact. * Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations for senior management and project stakeholders ensuring transparency and informed decision\-making. * Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure contingency plans are in place to handle unforeseen challenges. * Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and adoption of best practices in civil engineering disciplines supporting Adani’s vision for operational excellence and industry leadership. Technical Skills * Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles related to power and energy infrastructure * Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and Primavera for project scheduling * Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and site management * Experience with soil investigation, foundation engineering, and structural analysis * Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable construction practices * Competence in quality assurance/control processes and documentation Non\-Negotiable Skills * Leadership and People Management * Project Execution and Construction Supervision * Quality and Safety Compliance **Qualifications** **Education Qualification: \-** Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university or institution. **Experience: \-** 10\-12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering within the 3\-5 years in Power or Energy industry, demonstrating expertise in managing infrastructure projects, construction supervision, and team leadership
