Job Overview
We are seeking a Manager - Accounts Payable to oversee client billing, accounts payable and receivable, collections, and financial reporting support. Below are the key details:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end client billing and invoicing.
- Prepare, review, and issue accurate client invoices.
- Handle billing queries and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
- Support cash flow forecasting and collections activities.
- Review contracts and billing records to ensure all work is invoiced.
- Support month-end reporting and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and financial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable, billing, or a finance role.
- Experience managing client billing and receivables independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of VAT, sales tax, and statutory filing obligations; UAE and UK billing experience is advantageous.
