Experience
We are seeking a common law qualified junior in-house lawyer (3 to 5 PQE) who thrives in a fast-moving tech environment advising a diverse range of teams. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation from a TMT practice group of a large law firm or multi-national corporation who is able to manage legal matters, from drafting and negotiation through to execution. Previous experience drafting framework services agreements, software licenses, partnership agreements, consulting agreements, and cloud services is required. A keen interest in technology and innovation having provided advice on data privacy, IP, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, AI and emerging technologies is a plus.
Key technical skills required

Contract drafting and review
- ability to review, mark-up and draft common commercial agreements with attention to risk and business context.

Regulatory and compliance basics
- working knowledge of core regulatory areas relevant to the business (e.g. data protection, intellectual property and export control).

Legal research and issue spotting
- strong fundamentals in research and identifying key legal issues efficiently.

The role will focus on commercial, procurement and go-to-market matters, including technology and IP commercialization projects.
