**Principal Accountabilities**
**Employment \& Labour Law**
* Provide end‑to‑end legal advisory on
**employment and labour law matters**
, including hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, restructurings, workforce transitions, and employee relations.
* Draft, review, and advise on
**HR policies, codes of conduct, disciplinary frameworks, employment documentation, notices, and internal communications**
.
* Interpret and apply
**labour legislation, employment regulations, and judicial precedents**
, and assess legal risk and compliance exposure.
* Support HR and business stakeholders on sensitive employee matters, escalations, and investigations.
**Commercial Contracts \& Advisory**
* Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on
**commercial contracts**
, RFPs, MSAs, SOWs, amendments, and other legal documents as assigned.
* Provide
**contractual interpretation, clause extraction, risk analysis, and legal opinions**
on commercial and employment‑linked agreements.
* Support contract lifecycle management, including issue identification, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives.
**Dispute Resolution \& Litigation Management**
* Handle
**commercial disputes and employee‑related disputes**
, including strategy formulation and risk assessment.
* Manage and coordinate with
**external counsel**
, including briefing, review of pleadings, monitoring progress, and cost management.
* Prepare dispute updates, summaries, and risk assessments for
**senior management and leadership stakeholders**

**Research, Analysis \& Drafting**
* Conduct legal research and provide
**clear, well‑reasoned legal analysis**
to support business decisions.
* Draft
**legal notices, responses, opinions, memoranda, settlement documentation, and policies**
with strong attention to defensibility and tone.
**Secondary Accountabilities**
* Act as a trusted legal advisor to HR, business, and leadership teams on day‑to‑day and complex matters.
* Support internal governance, compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation projects.
* Proactively identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions aligned with business needs.
