Legal Counsel, Litigation – Financial Services MNC

**About the Role** The client’s legal team requires an experienced **UK\-qualified litigator** on a contract basis to project manage a complex **dispute project.** This consultant will sit between **external counsel and the business** , and ensuring each case progresses on track. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a large litigation portfolio within a financial services MNC. **What You’ll Be Doing** * Primary responsibility for managing **the case dispute portfolio** * Triaging and managing cases according to a clear strategy and timeline * Acting as the key liaison between **external counsel and internal stakeholders** * Helping control external legal spend * Freeing the in\-house legal team from day\-to\-day litigation management **Whom They’re Looking For** * **7\+ PQE litigation lawyer** , ideally with financial services disputes experience * **UK\-qualified solicitor or barrister** with a current practising certificate * Experience handling disputes in **retail banking, wealth management or mortgage lending** preferred * Experience from private practice and/or in\-house environments * Commercial, pragmatic and confident working with senior stakeholders For a confidential discussion, please get in touch.
