**Legal Counsel** **Remote** **3 month contract** **Day rate: £800/ per day/ inside or outside of IR35** **Start date: ASAP** An established and highly regarded financial services business is seeking an Interim Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team . This is a broad commercial role with a strong strategic transactions and lending focus, supporting the business across a range of corporate, financing and commercial matters within a regulated environmen t. Working closely with senior stakeholders and the wider legal function, the successful candidate will support on strategic business initiatives including M\&A activity, refinancing projects, lending arrangements and wider commercial transactions, whilst also advising on day\-to\-day legal matters across the organisati on. Key responsibilities will incl ude: • Supporting on M\&A transactions, corporate projects and strategic investment act ivity• Advising on lending and financing arrangements within a regulated financial services enviro nment• Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and strategic agree ments• Partnering with senior business stakeholders on complex cross\-functional pro jects• Advising on legal and regulatory considerations impacting the bus iness• Managing external counsel where required and operating as a trusted business ad visor The team is keen to speak with lawyers who bring a blend of strong commercial contracts experience alongside exposure to corporate transactions, financing work or strategic business pro jects.
