It's no wonder then that our goal has always been to build stronger connections between our customers and the things they value most, and we aspire to be the epitome of virtual security and surveillance. **Job Summary** Legal Counsel shall be responsible for providing legal support to all business units and teams within India region. Responsibilities mainly include contract management \& execution, data privacy, and compliances. **Duties \& Responsibilities** * Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts and letters, in collaboration with business teams; * Manage and support execution of any and all contracts of Dahua India, including but not limited to printing contracts on non\-juridical stamp paper, paying statutory fees on contracts, arranging signatures of authorized signatories, affixing seal, notarization, maintaining related records, training and drafting policy for contract execution; * Ensure that contracts must be executed and are properly entered into Dahua India databases and securely maintained; * Ensure to legal compliance due to changes in regulatory requirements; * Responsible for Updating New Laws and Regulations; * Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract\-related matters; * Interacting with contractors, suppliers, law firms and clients as necessary; * Work collaboratively and in partnership with Dahua India and HQ Legal Affairs department. **Competencies** * Organizational Support\-\-Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization's goals and values; Benefits organization through outside activities; Supports affirmative action and respects diversity. * Oral Communication\-\-Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings. * Written Communication\-\-Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information. * Ethics\-\-Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values. * Quality\-\-Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality. * Interpersonal Skills\-\-Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Maintains confidentiality; Listens to others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things. **Required Education and Experience** * Master/ Bachelor’s degree in law from recognized law school in India/ abroad; * 5\-10 years' experience in\-house/ law firm; * Familiar with handling company legal affairs and procedures; * Experience and legal knowledge with focus on contract \& commercial laws; * Driving discipline and focusing on minimizing risk levels and contractual adherence; * Having a CS degree is desired but not mandatory. **Location** * Gurugram
