Al Ramsy Advocates and Legal Consultancy is seeking an experienced and qualified
Legal Counsel
to join its team in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support across a broad range of civil, commercial, corporate, contractual, and litigation matters.
The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the UAE legal system, with particular experience in
Civil Law, litigation, dispute resolution, contract drafting and negotiation
, and legal advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on civil, commercial, corporate, and contractual matters.
- Handle and support civil and commercial litigation, disputes, claims, and legal proceedings.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, legal notices, memorandum, and other legal documents.
- Prepare and review pleadings, statements of claim and defense, legal submissions, and other litigation-related documents.
- Analyze legal issues, assess risks, and provide practical and effective legal solutions.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on UAE laws, regulations, and legal developments.
- Represent and support clients during negotiations, settlements, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes.
- Liaise with clients, government authorities, courts, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and legal ethics.
Qualifications \& Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (
LLB
); an LLM is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience within the United Arab Emirates.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in
UAE Civil Law, litigation, commercial law, and contract law
.
- Proven experience in handling civil and commercial disputes and litigation-related matters.
- Excellent legal drafting, contract negotiation, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and legal matters independently and efficiently.
- Fluency in
English
is required;
Arabic is highly advantageous
.
- Relevant UAE legal qualification or professional licensing, where applicable.
