Legal Associate – Commercial/ Contracts (Full time, On-site) - Dubai

We are a Dubai-based law firm seeking a highly skilled associate to join our Corporate, Commercial \& Contracts practice. This role is suited to a strong English language legal practitioner with solid transactional experience excellent English drafting ability, and the capacity to handle commercial matters independently.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and transactional documents in English.
• Advising clients on corporate and commercial arrangements.
• Provide legal support for corporate transactions, including licensing, due diligence and documentation.
• Develop, update, and maintain standard templates.
• Undertake legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
• Manage and track assignments in line with client and firm timelines.
• Perform other related tasks aligned with the above responsibilities.

Qualifications

• must be holder of bachelor’s degree in law  with minimum GPA 3.5 / Very Good / Distinction (or equivalent)
• graduate from common law university/program
• must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role/ acting on corporate and commercial matters (with UAE experience is preferred)
• Excellent English legal drafting, structuring, and contract negotiation skills (mandatory)
• exposure to banking and finance, information technology and real estate industries
• must be able to provide references as required
